Gelato



GELATO IS MORE THAN THE ITALIAN WORD FOR ICE CREAM


It's a frozen dessert made from a mixture of Milk Cream Fruit & Custard.


Many purists would say it is only truly Gelato if its made by an 

authentic Italian Gelateria such as our own.


The primary difference is that Gelato is denser than regular ice cream.


Traditional ice cream contains a large amount of air allowing the finished product 

to nearly double in size but weakens the flavour.


Gelato also contains far less butter fat meaning it can be stored at a

much higher temperature thus retaining the intense flavours 

and avoiding the fatty after taste often found in regular ice cream.
